Tom Scarp A long-time Lake Worth resident, Tom joined Garabar in 2011 after working with a large local roofer for more than five years. He is a designated ‘Haag’ roofing engineer and technician. Tom graduated from Georgetown University in 1970 and in the 80s and 90s, was employed as a home builder in Melbourne, FL, also spending some time as a real estate broker and an insurance adjuster. Tom then spent four years in Cocoa Beach building his home improvement company before selling it back in 2002. Over the past 20 years, he has put his five children through college and they are all still talking to him. He considers that his biggest accomplishment.
Field Operations
Martin Rojas: Tear-Off and Hotmop Supervisor Martin leads the hot mop team for tile roofing and oversees tear-off and hot-mop installation to make sure that demolition and installation activities run smoothly. His primary concern is the safety of everybody on or near the job site as hot tar can be one of the most dangerous phases of roofing. His watchful eye ensures that people are safe and property is not damaged.
Production Staff
Vanessa Medina: Office Manager Vanessa joined Garabar to take charge of day-to-day administrative operations including creating and scheduling work orders for repairs and coordinating sales associates and their appointments. Vanessa is an integral part of the Garabar customer service team, ensuring that all of our customers continue to receive the personal attention that has made us second to none in South Florida. Vanessa previously served in the United States Army where she spent a tour of duty in Iraq.
